The body is a living archive. Wayne McGregor turns his DNA into dance. In his latest creation, he pays attention to the body as an archive and presents a cycle of choreographic tableaux inspired by the sequencing of his own genome. The first of these studies, Autobiography, is an abstract meditation on self, life, writing, refracting both memorized pasts and speculative futures. he was, the style of McGregor sometimes softens and it is undoubtedly this slight suspension in the furious mechanics which makes the difference with other pieces. S'appuyant sur les dernières avancées en matière d'intelligence artificielle, de recherche acoustique et d'informatique spatiale, Deepstaria est une œuvre mouvante qui entretient un dialogue constant avec elle-même : une évolution chorégraphique qui coexiste à travers les multiples dimensions de l'expérience.
